Poets and poetry lovers take guests on a poetic journey around the world at the café Kaffislippur at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina by the old harbour.
If you want to introduce a poem from your native country or a place dear to your heart, whether your own poetry or that by others, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reykjavik UNESCO City of Literature and Café Lingua invite you on a date with poems from different cultures and language areas on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Poets and poetry enthusiasts will introduce the poetry. This is a kind of speed dating where you can sit down at different poetry tables, listen to readings, read, chat and learn about poetry from around the world. There will be poetry from Cuba, Ireland, Japan, Nicaragua, Germany, Poland and the USA, among others, introduced by Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo, Larissa Kyzer, Saori Fukasawa, Gerður Gestsdóttir, Mica Allan and Randi Stebbins.
